At Homecare My Way, we make Support at Home services flexible and transparent. You can choose care workers at rates that suit your needs, while government funding helps ensure your care is fair and sustainable.
Do I have to contribute?
You may be asked to contribute to your services, depending on:
- The type of support you receive
- Your financial situation
Government funding covers the rest, helping make care affordable for everyone.
Service Contributions
Your contribution is based on the type of services you receive:
- Clinical Support – No contribution. Includes nursing, allied health, and medication management.
- Independence Services – Moderate contribution. Covers personal care, home modifications, transport, social support and respite.
- Everyday Living Services – Higher contribution. Includes shopping support, domestic assistance, meal preparation and gardening.
Financial Situation
Your income and assets help determine your contribution:
- Full Age Pensioner – Minimum contribution
- Part Pensioner / Commonwealth Seniors Health Card holder – Moderate contribution
- Self-Funded Retiree – Higher contribution
How contributions are calculated:
You only pay for the services you use, as a percentage of the service cost. Contributions may vary depending on when your government funding was approved.
