How do I apply for the Support at Home Program?
Applications start through My Aged Care, where you check eligibility and request a home-based assessment. A government assessor determines the level of funding you can access. Homecare My Way can guide you through this process and help you understand each step.
What services can I use my Support at Home funding for?
Support at Home funding can cover in home nursing, medication support, domestic assistance, personal care, social support, transport, meal preparation and allied health. Homecare My Way offers a broad range of these services so customers can build a care plan that suits their needs.
What is self-management?
Self-managed care allows you to coordinate your own services while Homecare My Way handles compliance, budgeting and reporting. It gives greater choice and control, often allowing funding to stretch further. We have developed unique systems to allow you to schedule and manage your services directly with your chosen supplier, view your care plan, monthly activity statements and even communicate with your dedicated Care Partner (Customer Care Manager).
